I feel like my next step is to *Re-vamp* The Backwards Bride.
I want a new design...
but I can't spend a ton of money to do so!
I see designers out there making fabulous designs for other blogs but they're charging a few hundred dollars that I don't have.
I would like to know what the top template sites are.
I would like to know from my fellow blogger friends if creating my own would be simple.
If you have tips, tricks or links... please share!
Thank you, thank you!

Hey! I just found your blog from the blog hop and saw this post - I got my blog designed for 80.00 - not sure if that's in your price range. Check it out and see if you like it, if you do, then on the bottom of my right sidebar is a link to her page. She did a header, buttons, about me section, navigation bar, installed, and so much more for 80.00 - by the way, I'm your newest follower!! woot woot!
Hi Steph! I use the Atahualpa theme with WordPress. I visit http://bloggingwithamy.com/ ALOT for tips and pointers along with how-to videos. Some day I would also like to have someone like http://fivejsdesign.com/ do a make-over of my blog. Until then, I will just keep using Amy's help. Stop on over backtofamily.net sometime for a visit! :)
Hi, my blog design came from www.designerblogs.com and was 10 bucks! I like the simplicity of it. I'm a new follower from the blog hop!
There are lots of bloggers out there that are just starting up with their design blogs so you could always look for them. There is also a website called thecutestblogontheblock.com and they have blog templates. You can also find tutorials on line like youtube to show you how to edit your html and all. Good luck! Hope it all works out for you! Found you from the blog hop!
i recommend the blogger who did mine, she is so great and veryyy inexpensive!
You can go to her page at the bottom of my blog
Have a great night! stop by nichollvincent.blogspot.com and say hello!
Honestly - mine is a default from blogger than I tweaked. They have a lot of cool backgrounds to choose from!
I created the header in photobucket, you could also use picmonkey.
Let me know if you have any questions! I also did a lot of google searches to figure out how to do what I liked :)

Thank you ladies for sending me some awesome feedback and advice!
I got mine for $10 from www.designerblogs.com and it's great to start out with :) I wanted to start small and then save for something bigger in time! They have some great choices!! If it's freebie ones you are looking for, I always used http://leeloublogs.blogspot.com, some great options on there as well!!
New follower from the Yours Truly hop, have a great one!

I am just using a freebie template from blogger, too. I just added my own photo for a header. I've been getting lots of compliments which is very flattering, since I'm new to blogging. If you don't do that, I like the other suggestion of maybe trading an add space on your site for a new designer. Good luck!

I did check out the freebie templates at some websites, but then I realised that I couldn't edit anything in them if I wanted to later on. So, I am using one of the blogger templates, and just tweaked it a bit (a lot actually, lol). Still need to work on it, but I actually enjoyed doing it myself. So if you want to try doing it by yourself, I would love to help you out. Just let me know :)
btw, new follower from the Return the favor hop. Your blog name just caught my interest! ;)
