Things I Could Do If I Didn't Have A Toddler

I've been meaning to do this post for awhile now but well, you know... life is crazy and I can be quite forgetful.

I know.

The title sounds harsh?  A little selfish?  Take it how you want!
(Inspiration comes from People I Want To Punch In The Throat)

* All the extra money that doesn't go to bills I could spend on myself.

* More vacations and traveling.

* I could cuss... without feeling bad or looking around to see if any children are present.

* Date nights would be more than once every other month or once a month if I'm lucky.

* I would have more privacy in the bathroom!

* Going back to school was on my list before I got pregnant... I'm pretty sure I would have gone back.

* I would quite possibly be in jail.  I've had my run-in's with the law in my teenage/young adult years.  (MAYBE one day I'll have the courage to share that portion of my life to the blog world.)

* Leaving the house wouldn't have to be such a thought out process.  If you forget that one diaper or toy, snacks or juice... you're doomed.

* I would have a different job by now.  A 9-5 set work scheduled job with free weekends of course!

* My social life would be packed with things to do with my friends.

*  I've always loved going to watch movies.  I wouldn't need a babysitter and I wouldn't have a problem staying AWAKE during it either!

* My hubby and I's sex life would AHEM... exist more than once or twice a week?

* It would be easier to decide what I'm going to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

* Being hungover would be MUCH easier by myself!

* Road trips wouldn't be so hard to prepare for.

*Able to watch TV that has a dying child without feeling like my heart was just torn out.  Yes my friends that have no children.. it feels just like that.

* Most days wouldn't have to be planned out around naps and such.  Though I do love napping...

A pretty good list I think.

I am greatful, thankful and super truly blessed with what I have now.
I have an amazing beautiful family with awesome in laws... I would never want to lose any of it.
Every now and then I get away with some of these on the list but I wouldn't trade 'em for my little lady.

She saved my life.  Changed it for the better!  I'm glad to be growing older, wiser and more mature, thanks to her and the Husband.
My life has purpose and I have goals and a wonderful future ahead.

One day I'll be able to have all the Freedom again once Briana (and the future babies grow up) and I'll probably be sticking my foot in my mouth... missing them and wanting them to come back Haha.

Haven't done one of these posts in a couple weeks so it might be a little on the random side!
My daughter went through a two day phase of not wanting to take off her Burger King crown.
As you can see...

This past Father's Day...

I was able to afford a new grill for my Husband.
What a lucky guy!
I love him what can I say... and he's a wonderful daddy.

Oh!  I can't forget about the free golf "starter" clubs I was able to get him.
It's good to know people :)

Gosh.  He's so spoiled!

This afternoon we had a moon bounce event to set up at Fort Hunt Park so we hung around Old Town, Alexandria for most of the afternoon until the event was over.
What a beautiful day it was!

Last but not least, check out our awesome new clock from Spain.  It's now hanging on our wall by the front door.

Blogger Rut?

I think I hit a brick wall in the blogging world.
I've had time to post things, I just... haven't?
My husband went on a fishing trip with his buddies last week and I thought, "Oh I'll have TONS of time to blog and surf other blogs."  Nope, nada.
Hopefully it's only temporary because I have enjoyed having my blog so far!
It's definitely formed in some ways since last fall.

Life has been odd lately.

There's a possible job opportunity in the near future... just not sure if it's going to happen in my favor.  Friends, keep your fingers crossed for me because God knows I'm feeling the need for a change in my life!
Waiting patiently is not my style.  And the unknown really REALLYS SUCKS.

SO...
I've come up with a conclusion.

If the job passes on to someone else that fits the title better, then we will start trying for baby #2 very soon.  Briana is growing fast and needs a younger sister or brother to terrorize!
If I do get the job which ='s more money and more of my time commitment, then the baby making will have to be put off a little while longer.

What do I want?
I want BOTH!
If I can have both it would be a dream come true.

I suppose we'll just have to wait and see what God has in store for me and my little family.

11 Random Things About Me...

1. I quit smoking the day after Easter after 12 straight years of puffing away.  Sometimes I feel so proud of myself... other times I wish I could just throw it all away and go buy a pack!

2. I keep everything at work nice and organized but my house is ALWAYS messy.

3. I have two misdemeanors that will be wiped off my record in less than four years... Yay!  There will be a celebration when that day comes.

4. I cuss like a sailor and every once in awhile my almost three-year-old repeats what I say.  Oops!  (But I'm getting better... a little)

5. I overly stress about money.  It's a bad trait I possess...
Even though I buy things for myself it's not often.  I'd rather spend money on my baby girl or gifts for my husband, family & friends.

6. I have terrible, TERRIBLE road rage (no not with my child in the car.)  I don't hesitate to beep or scream obscenities.  Yet, somehow I've never been in a car accident *Knock on wood*

7. I LOVE food.  I love to eat everything.  Well except for brussel sprouts. Yuck!

8. I really REALLY want another baby... BUT I want to lose like 10 pounds before I get pregnant so I don't get super fat.  Yes I know, my way of thinking kinda sucks.

9. I've heard many times that you need to love the job you're in.  I'm not one of those people (anymore) and would really like a change.

10. I love taking photos.  I have this desire to one day become a photographer though I'm not the best at it. :)

11. I LOVE being home four days a week... though I do try to escape three nights a week for an hour to my boot camp class.  I like the people and my trainer.  The socialization keeps me sane!

My Gracefully Disastrous Questions:
1. What is your most embarrassing parenting or relationship (if you're not a parent) moment?
I honestly can't think of an embarassing parenting moment.  By no means does that mean I'm prefect!

2. Have you ever fallen down in public? If so, do tell...
Umm normally that only has happened when I was intoxicated HAH...

3. How many blog followers do you have? PS: I only have 20 according to blogger.
According to blogger I have 20.
According to Facebook I have 47 followers.

4. What's your favorite cuss word? If you don't cuss...what word would slip out of your mouth if you stubbed the hell out of your toe?
Fuck!

5. How often do you really mop your kitchen floor? Be honest!!
I actually just did this afternoon!  But it's been 2-3 weeks since the last time...

6. What is your favorite book?  I'm not kidding...I'm looking for new reading material.
The Sookie Stackhouse Series (Related to the True Blood tv show)

7. How old were you when you started your period?
I was 11.  That was not a good time in my life... Thank God they invented tampons. (TMI, but it was asked!)

8. When was the last time you had an "OH SHIT" moment? Please explain, so I don't feel so bad about myself.
Yesterday actually... when we got pulled over by a cop (a walking cop.)
He came outta nowhere!  That shouldn't be aloud...

9. Are your parents still married? If so, what do you think their secret is?
No, mine divorced after 20 some years of marriage.
I will try my hardest to break that cycle!

10. What is your biggest fear?
-Someone in my immediate family dying.
-Having a disabled child (I don't think I would be strong enough to handle that.)

11. What is your biggest wish?
To have more babies, become a stay at home mom and work with just our business.

TAAAG!
