Wordless Wednesday

I've decided to start a *Wordless Wednesday!*  I obviously didn't come up with this idea.. I read a ton of blogs that have this going every week. It's a great idea especially for me!  It'll help me to post more on a regular basis which is exactly what I've been wanting to do.  I'm not promising it'll be totally wordless though! J
If anyone has ideas on how to keep my blog going on the regular, your advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Bahaha... what am I not good at?

Zip it! I can hear laughter.  Shh.

Putting on the serious face, here we go.  The things I am good at:

-Mommyhood (though I do tell myself at times that I'm not, who doesn't?)
-Making people laugh
-Freaking out about things that don't matter (ooh yes that was discussed last night actually!)
-Calm and collected to things that DO matter.
-My job.  Everyone has a job.  I have 3!  Full-time mommy, part-time Moonbounce lady & part-time server/bartender.
-Eating. Some days I just live to eat!
-Becoming more in control of my body.  Trying to create a better way of life through fitness.
-Running (well.. jogging at my own pace.)  I have finally started to enjoy it!
-Being supportive to family/friends when needed most.
-Consignment shopping Queen :)
-Taking photos of my growing crazy toddler.
-I'm a good soon-to-be Wifey!
-Being sarcastic
-Memorizing things
-Staying up late.
-Drinking beer and all my other favorite calorie filled alcoholic beverages!
-Beer pong!
*That's how I met my wonderful Fiance... I kicked his butt :)
-Making Princess Briana happy.
-Driving a truck!
-Backing into parking spots.
-Speeding
-Encouraging others
-I get along well with just about anyone.
-Winning people over-
I love starting new relationships and connecting with others.
-Dancing! Especially after a couple cocktails... ya can't stop me.
-Procrastinating.
-Getting upset when someone else is procrastinating!
           HAHA I can't win.
-Having faith that every situation will eventually turn out fine.
-Thinking too much.
-Mumbling
-Putting myself down.
-Bartending. I really am pretty damn good!
-Customer Service. Either when I'm answering phone calls for our business or at the country club serving the members... I know how to make others happy.
-I want the best for other people.
-Been know to be overly caring for others.
-Being thankful.
-And then being negative the next day!
-Trying to do too much at one time. I want it all done NOOOW.
-Last minute things
-Moving heavy things.
-Cussing! Ugh.
-Being addicted to Facebook, Pinterest and my Ipod Touch apps!
-Learning
-Kissing. I try to kiss Steve & Briana ALL the time :)
-Hugging. I love hugging everyone. I don't see any harm in it!
-Repeating myself.
-Raising my voice...
-Party planning. Maybe I'm not as good as I think I am... but I enjoy it at least.
-Being confused.
-Not completing projects.. it's a work in progress.
-Reading books.
-Not answering texts.
-Sleeping.
-Buying too much from Cost Co
-Buying too much take out.
-Making easy and fast meals.
-Throwing stuff out.
-And hoarding things that take up space HAH
-Holding in my thoughts & emotions...
-Having a messy house.
-Giving. If I have it and you need it, it's yours. The feeling afterwards makes me want to do it more often.
-Smiling. Even when times are rough!
-Crying. You need a good cry every now and then.
-Listening to others when they need a shoulder.
-Being a good sister & daughter!
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST...

I'm good at daydreaming about what my future holds with my family.

WOO!  This was hard.
This was at no means meant to be a *bragging* list.  It took me awhile to do it... I wont say how long.  I even debated on not finishing it.  But I'm glad I did!  I suppose now I must come up with a list of the things I'm NOT good at.  Easy peasy!  I think most can agree that it's much easier to come up with a list of things you're terrible at.  I thought my list would be much much shorter.  I'm proud of myself that I came up with a big list.

I know I haven't blogged in awhile.  Kind of have been in a funk... and busy  with Briana, work and wedding planning of course!  Look at me coming up with excuses again. :)

Free Weekend!

I call this my free weekend since I don't have to request off of work for it.  Every year MVCC closes down the first two weeks in January!  It's a nice break... but such a tease.  Steve tells me that this a preview of what will be happening in a year or so for me.  He really cheers me up good!  Busy busy weekend it was.

Friday was such a beautiful day!  Thank God Briana loves the outdoors.  We ran around the neighborhood and played at the park.  Tons of kids were out playing so she definitely had some fun interaction.

We also had time to wash our car & truck before the sun went down.  My big girl helped! :)

Friday evening I headed over to my sister's house to get started on shower and  bachelorette party planning/wine night!  Of course wine night makes anything more fun.  We have come up with two separate showers.  My future sister-in-law had two which gave me a good idea... So we came up with one shower with the "Old Ladies" (in laws, mom's, aunts) and one shower with my friends.  Which means one dry shower and one with alcohol... Good times ahead!

On Saturday I went to a wedding.  Congratulations Sarah and Mannix!  Mannix is apart of our family and I'm so happy for him!  He finally found a sweet pretty lady to spend the rest of life with.  Sarah's Aunt's played music for their ceremony.

The ceremony was wonderful.  I definitely got a little weepy at times!

Briana was with us and people were surprised at how good she was.

The reception hall was a few blocks away in DC.  I was amazed with the layout and all the beautiful decorations.

The food was great.  The toasts to the bride and groom were awesome.  And then the dancing began!  Our family knows how to have a good time that's for sure... if you're not dancing, there has got to be something wrong with ya.  We had such a great time!

Sunday, I was supposed to run my first 5K!  I had signed up for it a few days ago, went to pick up my packet on Saturday morning before the wedding and was so excited for it.  I didn't wake up until after the race was over. Seriously? Grrr!  I had my clothes out and ready, my water bottle and snack together, my number all ready to be pinned on to my shirt.  This past week I've had trouble sleeping.  Most nights I wouldn't get to sleep until after 4AM... I'm not blaming anything but myself though.  I'll beat myself up for the next couple of days but there will be more races in the future!

On Monday I will be back to my strict diet & exercise routine until the festivities start!  Three days a week at boot camp, maybe some long runs on my own.

I also have meetings this week with my boss about pricing for our wedding reception and with my cup cake lady at The WeddingLoft. YAY!  Things are starting to move along.  Slowly but surely everything's coming together!

2012 Promises To Myself

2011 was pretty good!  Steve proposed to me on Christmas so I was still the happiest girl high in the clouds.  Daydreaming and planning!   I couldn’t wait to buy my dress so it was found and purchased in February from Labella Bridal.

Briana has grown so much this year.  Strong personality and so active!  She loves the outdoors.  Talks a TON.  I couldn’t have asked for a more awesome baby girl.

Steve turned 28 February 21st, Briana turned 2 on July 7th and I turned 26 on July 18th.  Steve and I celebrated our 3 year relationship in September.

The Moonbounce Man is on fire!  Well, it’s dead season now but a nice break is well deserved.  We were slammed during the Spring and Summer months… even the Fall season was packing in events.  I even answered a couple calls for the month of December since the weather was still beautiful.  Steve has worked himself to death this year… I can see he’ll have to hire more employees in the near future.  He has made it a one man job since 2009 (with some help at times when it was too much from family and friends that were around) and I’m very proud of him.  I help when I can but I still have to go to my other job on the weekends unfortunately for now.  My babe has done such a great job!  I love helping him by answering the phones, responding to e-mails and booking events while I’m home during the week.

The Holidays of course were great and I’m so blessed to have an amazing family!

Resolutions?  BLAH.  I do not like to use that word.  Why?? I’ve made *resolutions* in the past and never ever kept them.  I prefer to use the words goals, plans, decisions, anything but the R word!  I thought promise stood out… it makes me want to keep my goals for the upcoming year.

My first promise is to not be a Bridezilla.  Our wedding is less than 3 months away!  I may have done some procrastinating… LOTS of it actually.  I just need to keep in mind that if something doesn’t work out the way I want, don’t freak out.  Nothing matters more than Steve and I having the BEST time ever with our family and friends!   I’m glad it’s coming up soon because I cannot take anymore of this waiting!

My next promise is to stick with CFC Boot Camp.  I’m getting in shape and it feels great!  I have so much more endurance than I did a few months ago.  I would like to keep it part of my lifestyle even after the wedding.  I enjoy going most of the time, my instructor is awesome and so are the people in the group I’m in!

I would like to run my first 5K in 2012!  Never did I enjoy running even when I played sports until recently.  I plan to run the BRATS Frozen 5K on Sunday, January 8th.  Wish me luck!

I promise to have more patience.  It’s hard not to go crazy with a 2 ½ year old that gets into everything, doesn’t like to listen and repeats all the bad things you just told her NOT to do.  But I really hate yelling at my child.  Sometimes I catch myself and think why yell?  It’s really not that serious.  Other than that, I’m a pretty cool ass Mommy!  I want to have more patience not just with my baby but in other areas as well... with my job, and with Steve too.  Life can be frustrating and chaotic and I take things out on him because he's there.  Yep, totally not fair!  I would like to change that and treat him more as my life partner than an enemy.

I promise to spend more time with my family this year… The Scott side!  I think about them all the time, we just never EVER get together!  For real, the only time is when there’s a funeral or a wedding.  I want Briana to get to know her Cousins and Aunts & Uncles better.

There are many other things in my life I would like to improve on but I think all the promises I've listed is all I can grasp on to for now.

To all of my family and friends:
I hope you all have one fabulous year!
Make 2012 unforgettable!
