Happy New Year everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful time over the holiday's with your families and friends.
We sure did!
We always spend Christmas Eve with the Hubs side of the family...
eating way too much, playing cards and opening presents at Midnight.
On Christmas day we normally go to my Aunt's house for brunch but since she wasn't feeling good, we had a small Christmas dinner at our place. It's the first time we've had people over on Christmas and I enjoyed hosting. The only thing I failed at was not giving myself enough time to *clean house* beforehand. Next time, I promise to be more organized... cleaning was HELL.
The week after Xmas was blur. I had to work through the weekend and New Year's Eve. My job always throws a Gala and casino night so it's all hands on deck. Every year after NYE, the country club shuts down for two weeks.
I. AM. FREEEEE! Pretty much until the 18th of January.
I hope during this time I can mentally prepare for the upcoming year. For those of you that have been reading for awhile you know that I've been hating on my job since Hmm, around April. It's been a downhill battle with myself and I can only hope that something good happens this year or I can stumble upon something new.
I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. ; )
